Every Thursday morning from 9:15am to 10:30am young families gather at Church@TheGabba for lots of fun, singing, movement and community.
The program is for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers; it has a music focus and contains a fun, interactive 30-minute structured session, where a passionate volunteer team bring out the best in the children and help them to gain the skills in readiness for school.
There is a strong sense of ‘it takes a village to raise a child’. With guidance by volunteers from the church, families are given the chance to think about the God-part of life in a loving, sharing environment that welcomes everyone.
There is time for play and, also, for morning tea. And it's not just the children who enjoy the program...but the adults love getting together too!
